2.Here is an ArtPrize piece that I liked. It was sad to look at it and hear the story of this woman who had been captured from her own country and enslaved, but I was so moved by this piece because it is an oil painting yet looks so life-life and could easily be confused for a photograph. But the most amazing thing is this piece of art was created by a woman who had absolutely no formal training! We and our students go through so much in our lives, yet we can persevere and find the talent in all of us!-Mrs. Cummings-pulliams

This Photo and the next are CAPTIVATING because they are parts of a bigger castle scene, with a knight(2nd pic) defending his castle with many tiny metal miniature knights in pods(1st pic) helping to defend the castle. We stood there for about 10 minutes looking at all the detail the artist put into each pod of knights! -Mrs.Self

8. This sculpture is INCREDIBLE. It is a lifelike sculptures of a son carrying his father on his back. It is so realistic! Check out the detail on foot of the father! - Mrs. Self

30. I enjoyed this piece called The Pond since it was raining the day we visited Art Prize. I was impressed that the entire piece, raindrops, splashes, and ripples were made entirely of wood. It's amazing what can be done with just one medium. -Mrs. Meekhof
